You will need: denim, fusing; cotton lining; 6 buttons.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting:

Fabric:

1. Center back part - 2 details
2. Side back part - 2 details
3. Side front part - 2 details
4. Right center front part - 2 details
5. Left center front part - 2 details
6. Pocket facing - 2 details
7. Pocket - 2 details

Lining:

1. Center back part - 2 details
2. Side back part - 2 details
3. Side front part - 2 details

Fusing: left/right center front part, pocket facing.

Instructions:

1. Apply the fusing to wrong side of left/right center front part, pocket facing.

2. Sew front princess seams and press them apart.

3. Press pocket facing and sew to pocket upper edge. Serge pocket edges and press according to pattern. Topstitch the pocket on front part.

4. Sew back middle seam and back princess seams. Press back seam and princess seams apart.

5. Sew side seams and press them apart.

6. Sew shoulder seams and press them apart.

7. Lay reinforced left/right center front part on center front part right sides together. Overstitch edgings and front neckline with left/right center front part stopping 5 cm (2") before shoulder edges.

8. Sew lining details leaving shoulder edges unstitched. Press the lining.

9. Lay the lining on garment right sides together and stitch to inner edges of left/right center front part. Sew lining shoulder edges and left/right center front part shoulder edges. Overstitch back neckline and front neckline's unstitched segment. Leave open segments at armhole bottoms of 10 cm (4") length and overstitch armholes upper part. Cut seam allowance close to stitches. Pull front parts backwards through shoulder slits and turn the garment right side out through hem slit. Overstitch armhole lower parts.

10. Press the hem to wrong side and overstitch it with lining leaving 10 cm unstitched. Turn the garment through the hem and sew the slit by hand.

11. Make buttonholes into right front part and sew buttons to left one.
