Recommended fabrics: 100% silk or silk polyester.

You will need: silk fabric satin-type; elastic; batiste fabric as lining(lightweight 100% cotton fabric, usually white).
Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.
When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.
Cutting:
Silk Fabric:
1. Back - 1 piece
2. Front - 1 piece
3. Side Insert – 2 pieces
Batiste:
1. Back - 1 piece
2. Front - 1 piece
Instructions:
1.Sew Back and Front of silk fabric pieces at bottom. Sew Back and Front of batiste pieces at bottom. Place silk and batiste pants face sides together and stitch at top edges and leg opening edges. Turn the pants to the face side, baste the edges and topstitch.
2. Fold each Side Insert in half lengthwise face sides inside and stitch at long sides. Turn out each Insert and press so that the seam would go at the middle of each Insert. Topstitch Inserts to form tunnels for elastic. Insert elastic tapes, pull to make shirring. Hand-sew the elastic. Stitch Side Inserts to the Front and Back parts of panties.
3. Place elastic tape under leg opening and topstitch with zig-zag stitching, slightly pulling the elastic.
