You will need: taffeta or brocade; 1 zipper; lining.
Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.
When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.
Cutting:
Fabric:
1. Center back part - 2 details
2. Side back part - 2 details
3. Side front part - 2 details
4. Center front part - 1 detail
Lining:
1. Center back part - 2 details
2. Side back part - 2 details
3. Side front part - 2 details
4. Center front part - 1 detail
Instructions:
1. Sew front/back relieve seams and serge them. Press front relieve seams towards front center and back relieve seams towards back center.
2. Sew garment side/shoulder seams and serge them. Press shoulder/side seams backwards.
3. Sew lining relieve/shoulder/side seams. Press shoulder/side seams backwards.
4. Overstitch edges of neckline, armholes and hem with lining.
5. Serge back middle seam. Sew back side seam up to closure notch. Press back middle seam apart and press closure slit. Sew the zipper under allowances so that teeth ware hidden.
