Difficulty: **

You will need: crepe-sateen; chiffon printed with flowers; fusing; decorative thin braid with beads; zipper.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting :

Crepe-sateen:

1. Back part - 2 details
2. Front part - 1 folded detail
3. Back panel - 2 details
4. Front panel - 1 folded detail

Chiffon:

1. Back part - 2 details
2. Front part - 1 folded detail
3. Back panel - 2 details
4. Front panel - 1 folded detail

Braid:

1. Strap - 2 details

Fusing: apply fusing stripe of 2 cm (3/4") width to wrong side of upper edges of front/back parts and armhole edges.

Instructions:

1. Sew front/back darts in crepe-satin details and in chiffon details. Sew side seams. Lay chiffon dress right side on crepe-satin dress right side and overstitch them along upper edge. Cut seams and turn the dress right side out so that chiffon dress wrong wide were on crepe-satin dress right side. Tack it along lower edge.

2. Lay chiffon panels on crepe-satin panels and process them as single. Sew side seams, back middle seam leaving a closure slit unstitched.

3. Sew dress lower part to dress upper part, right sides together. Press the seam upwards.

4. Press closure allowance to wrong side. Sew the zipper under slit edges so that its teeth were hidden.

5. Press garment hem under and sew it by hand. Cut 2 straps from decorative braid. Sew front ends to front part according to marks. Sew braid also along dress upper edge.
