Instructions:

Advice on how to process beaded fabric.

Before sewing seams , remove beads on seam allowance up to seam lines. Reinforce beads near seam line with one or two stitches to prevent their unpicking. We also advice you to set special sewing machine foot to sew the zipper, so that the foot goes along seam allowance where beads are unpicked. You can also sew these seams by hand, with close back stitches; in this case, you do not need to unpick beads.

1. Sew princess seams of front and back parts and right side seam at bodice details (fabric and lining).

2. Lay the lining on bodice right sides together and stitch along neckline/armholes edges (begin and stop stitching strictly on shoulder seam lines). Cut allowance close to seam and turn the garment right side out. Sew bodice shoulder seam (fabric). Turn lining shoulder edges under, edge-to-edge, and sew. Make small blind stitches on right side of neckline and armholes to hide lining.

3. Front/back skirts, fabric and lining: sew middle/side seams leaving closure slit into left seam. Gather skirts along upper edge up to bodice lower edge length, stitch correspondingly. Press waist seam allowance toward bodice.

4. Sew the zipper by hand with its teeth hidden. Fold the lining and sew it to zipper braid.

5. Sew the hem by hand, with 1.5 cm (5/8") width.
