You will need: linen or fabrics suitable for dress.
Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.
When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.
Cutting:
1. Back part - 2 details
2. Front part - 2 details
3. Front/back piping - 1 detail
4. Armhole piping - 2 details
Instructions:
1.Cut front part and back part bias.
Let the dress hanging during 1 day before overcastting the hem, then draw hem line again.
Sew front darts, press them upwards.
Sew side seams. Press allowances apart.
Press allowances of sort edges of front/back neckline into wrong side, and topstitch at 0.5 cm (3/16").
Cut edges of neckline and armholes and overcast along marking.
Fold piping along the center, wrong sides together, press long edges inside, so that they coincide in the middle of stripes.
Tack piping to edges of neckline and armhole so that edges were in the middle of stripes.
Sew neckline piping in ring. Turn stripe free part into right side, and tack. At stripe place, turn stripes one to another and tack.
Stitch stripes on right side along the edge.
Sew side seams; sew allowances to stripes by hand.
Press hem into wrong side, and stitch.
