Garment length from the waistline is about 60 cm (24").

You need: taffeta; lining; fusing; invisible zipper; corsage band.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting:

Fabric:

1. Back middle part - 2 details
2. Back side part - 2 details
3. Front middle part - 2 details
4. Front side part - 2 details

Lining:

1. Back middle part - 2 details
2. Back side part - 2 details
3. Front middle part - 2 details
4. Front side part - 2 details

Fusing: apply the fusing to wrong side of upper parts.

Instructions:

1. Sew middle seams of front/back parts, sew princess seams. Press allowances apart.

2. Sew side seams providing a slit for zipper, press allowances apart. Sew the zipper in.

3. Cut corsage band into 5 equal pieces. Sew part from dress upper edge to allowances of right side seam, princess seams, center back seam as well as slit left edge.

4. Sew lining details. Lay garment and lining right sides together. Fold lining 5 mm (3/16") before zipper edges, pin it to upper edge above lining. Fold closure allowance to right side and pin to upper edge above lining. Sew upper edges. Fold closure allowances to wrong side. Fold lining upwards and topstitch seam allowance at 1-2 mm (1/16") from seam. Fold lining to wrong side and sew it to zipper braid.

5. Press the hem to wrong side and topstitch. Lining hem must be 2 cm (6/8") shorter than garment one.
