You will need: fabric mixed with lycra; fusing; 1 zipper; 3 buttons.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting :

Fabric:

1. Patch pocket - 2 details
2. Patch pocket flap - 2 details
3. Front part - 2 details
4. Back pocket - 2 details
5. Waistband - 1 detail
6. Button catch - 1 detail
7. Belt loop - 4 details

Fusing: waistband, button catch, pocket inner flaps.

Instructions:

Apply the fusing to wrong side of waistband, button catch and pocket inner flaps.

Sew side seams. Press seam allowances apart.

Make pleats into pockets, press allowances inside, then topstitch the pocket along marking. Overstitch the flap along side edges, turn it right side out, press, then topstitch along the edge. Sew the flap according to marking, its edge coinciding with pocket upper part. Turn the flap out so that it is its inner side on the pocket. Press, then topstitch on 0.7 cm (1/4") from joining distance.

Fold front parts right sides together, sew front middle seam before 2 cm (6/8") under inside leg seam.

Press zipper closure one-piece facing into left side. Sew the zipper under closure allowance left edge. Sew zipper free braid on right edge to one-piece facing. Fold the button catch along the center, wrong sides together, and serge along long and short edges. Topstitch closure one-piece facing on the button catch on garment left edge. Topstitch slit right edge catching facing.

Sew leg inside seams. Press seams allowances apart. Insert both parts one into another, right sides together. Sew middle seam up to upper edge. Press middle seam allowance to roundings.

Topstitch belt loops along one long edge and one short edge. Sew the waistband and garment upper edge, right sides together, leave projecting closure allowance at left edge. When stitching, insert belt loop raw ends between the waistband and the garment.

Press waistband joining seam allowance to waistband. Fold the waistband along the center, its right side inside, sew front ends. Turn the waistband right side out, topstitch it strictly along the joining seam. Topstitch belt loop ready ends on the waistband.

Press the hem allowance, then topstitch.

Make buttonholes into waistband right edges, sew buttons correspondingly.
