You will need: gabardine (or nature/mixed fabric); fusing; 1 zipper.
Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.
When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.
Cutting :
Fabric:
1. Back central part - 2 details
2. Back side part - 2 details
3. Front side part - 2 details
4. Front central part - 1 folded detail
5. Front facing - 1 folded detail
6. Back facing - 2 details
Fusing:
1. Front facing - 1 folded detail
2. Back facing - 2 details
Instructions:
Sew back middle seam from zipper mark downwards. Serge allowances and press them apart. Sew the zipper into the slit.
Sew back relieve seams and front relieve seams to the pleat. Serge pleat allowances apart, sew inner seams. Press inverted pleat and fix it with two diagonal stitches.
Sew side seams.
Turn garment hem into wrong side and sew it under.
Sew facing side seams. Apply lining and fabric details right sides together, then overstitch along edges of neckline and armholes, leaving slits of 1 cm (3/8") near shoulder edges. Turn the garment right side out through shoulder seams. Sew shoulder seams in fabric details. Turn shoulder edges and facing closure's allowance into wrong side and sew by hand. Serge facing lower edge.
