You will need: silk satin; fusible interfacing; 3 buttons.

Recommended fabrics: lightweight silk or polyester fabrics.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting:

Shell:

1. Back - 1 piece
2. Breast Pocket - 1 piece
3. Lower Pocket - 2 pieces
4. Collar – 2 pieces
5. Back Neckline Facing - 1 piece
6. Front with Extended Front Facing - 2 pieces
7. Sleeve - 2 pieces

Fusible Interfacing:

4. Collar – 2 pieces
5. Back Neckline Facing - 1 piece
6. Front Facing - 2 pieces

Instructions:

1. Reinforce Collar, Facings and Front Facings with fusible interfacing.

2. Fold allowance at top edge of Pocket to the face side. Stitch allowances to Pocket at sides. Turn allowance back to the face side. Turn under other allowances at sides and bottom; press. Topstitch top edge of Pocket. Mark Pocket placement at Front. Apply Pocket and edgestitch it to the Front.

3. Sew side, shoulder, and sleeve seams. Press allowances open.

4. Sew shoulder seams of Front Facings and Back Neckline Facing. Press seam allowances open.

5. Line up Collar pieces face-to-face and stitch around at three sides (except for neckline). Turn the Collar to the face side and press.

6. Fold Extended Front Facing to the wrong side along the fold line (front edge). Line up Facing with neckline, inserting Collar in between. Stitch along the neckline and lapel. Clip allowances in corners, turn the Front Facings and Back Neckline Facing to the wrong side; press.

7. Sew Sleeves into armholes.

8. Turn under hem allowances of Sleeves and garment. Turn under raw egde; topstitch the bottoms.

9. Mark buttonholes and buttons placement. Work buttonhole into right Front, sew buttons to the left Front.
