You will need: satin-line fabrics; fusible interfacing.

Recommended fabrics: heavyweight double-sided silk fabrics.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting:

Shell:

1. Back - 1 piece with bend
2. Pocket - 2 pieces
3. Front - 2 pieces
4. Front Facing - 2 pieces
5. Cuff - 2 pieces
6. Back Sleeve – 2 pieces
7. Front Sleeve – 2 pieces
8. Belt - 1 piece with bend

Fusible Interfacing:

4. Front Facing - 2 pieces
5. Cuff - 2 pieces

Instrictions:

1. Turn out to the face side extended facing at top edge of Pocket, stitch to the Pocket at sides. Turn the Facing back to the wrong side. Turn under allowances at the other edges of Pocket. Topstitch the Facing along the edge. Pin the Pocket to Front, baste and topstitch at sides and bottom.

2. Sew Sleeves to Fronts and Back, lining up armholes edges face-to-face. Sew upper and under-sleeve seams. Sew side seams.

3. Line up short ends of each Cuff face-to-face, stitch together to form a “ring”. Turn out the Cuff to the face side, fold lengthwise and press. Sew Cuffs to Sleeve bottoms.

3. Clip allowances in corners of Fronts diagonally. Sew center back seam of Collar. Sew Collar into neckline. Press seam open. Sew Front Facings together at the center back seam of Collar. Line up Front Facings with the robe face-to-face, sew together at bottom edges, front edges and Collar. Turn Front Facings to the wrong side, turn out the Collar, press.

4. Turn under hem allowances, topstitch.

5. Fold the Belt lengthwise in half, face-to-face, stitch at one long and one short side. Turn out the Belt to the face side, press. Turn raw edges inside the Belt, edgestitch the Belt all around.
