Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.
When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.
Recommended fabrics: heavyweight 100% silk or polyester silk fabrics.
You will need: silk satin, elastic.
1. Back - 2 pieces
2. Front - 2 pieces
1. Place Front and Back parts face-to-face. Sew inseams and side seams above the notch. Press seams open.
2. Place halves of panties one inside the other. Sew center front/back seam, leaving open an area at back, above the fold line of tunnel for elastic.
3. Turn under to the wrong side and press the allowance for tunnel. Turn under the raw edge and edgestitch the fold. Topstitch at the marked line (as per pattern). Pull elastic of length, equal to waist girth, through the waist tunnel. Hand-sew ends of elastic together.
4. Turn under raw edges at leg openings and side vents, turn under again, topstitch.
