Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting:

Fabric:

1. Center back part – 2 folded pieces
2. Side back part – 2 pieces
3. Side front part – 2 pieces
4. Back neckline facing – 1 folded piece
5. Center front part – 2 pieces
6. Front facing – 2 pieces
7. Upper sleeve – 2 pieces
8. Lower sleeve – 2 pieces

Another fabric:

1. Off-set welt – 2 pieces
2. Outer collar – 1 folded piece

Fusing:

1. Off-set welt – 2 pieces
2. Back neckline facing – 1 folded piece
3. Front facing – 2 pieces
4. Outer collar – 2 pieces

Lining:

1. Upper sleeve – 2 pieces
2. Lower sleeve – 2 pieces
3. Center front part – 2 pieces
4. Center back part – 2 pieces
5. Side back part – 2 pieces
6. Side front part – 2 pieces

Instructions:

1. Sew center back seam, back princess seams, and front princess seams.

2. Fold the welt along bend line, process it neatly along short edges. Stitch welt lower edges to front part along the marking. Fold the welt out, press it and topstitch it on front part.

3. Stitch side/shoulder seams.

4. Stitch middle seam of outer collar one-piece with front facings. Stitch front shoulder seams and back neckline facings. Slash seam allowances. Stitch inner collar into garment neckline; stitch outer collar into facing neckline. Cut joining seams’ allowance close to stitch and press them apart.

5. Lay front facings on front parts right sides together and pin them to edgings; pin edges of outer/inner collars together. Process garment’s seams of edging and collar neatly. Sew jacket hem. Sew front facings to hem.

6. Stitch sleeve seams. Sew sleeve hems and stitch sleeves into armholes easing them along sleeve caps.

7. Sew shoulder pads.

8. Stitch lining details. Stitch the lining to sleeve hems, front facings’ inner edges and to back neckline facing. Sew the lining under.

9. Make buttonholes into right front part, sew buttons on left one.
