You will need: natural/mixed fabric, fusing, invisible zipper, lining.

Attention! Fabric consumption varies depending on the size of garment. First of all, print out paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric/ knit you plan to use, to see how much fabric you will need.

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches- they must coincide.

Cutting:

Fabric:

1. Back part – 2 pieces
2. Front part – 1 piece

Lining:

1. Back part – 2 pieces
2. Front part – 1 piece

Fusing: front/back armholes facings

Instructions:

1. Apply the fusing to wrong side of front/back armholes facings.

2. Stitch front/back darts. Press back darts towards back center, press front darts towards front center. Stitch bust darts. Press darts downwards.

3. Serge front/back side edges and middle back edges.

4. Stitch front/back parts’ side/shoulder seams and press them apart excluding slits into side seam. Press slits and topstitch along slits at 0.5 cm (3/16") from slit edges.

5. Stitch darts into lining details. Press darts into lining in the same way as into fabric. Stitch side/shoulder edges of lining pieces. Press shoulder/side seams backwards. Serge lining lower edge into wrong side and topstitch it. Serge lining middle edge, stitch it up to closure notch and press it apart.

6. Stitch dress middle seam up to closure notch and press it apart.

7. Lay the lining on the dress right sides together and overstitch neckline edge. Under stitch front/back facings. Overstitch armhole upper part, adjust lining, them overstitch armhole lower part. Topstitch armholes overstitching’s allowances on the lining at 0.2 cm (1/16") from overstitching. Fold lining middle edge and stitch to garment allowances at closure segment.

8. Serge garment hem, then fold it under and topstitch at 1.5 cm (5/8") from lower edge.
